They feature a host of standard features and are supplied fully assembled on a structural steel integral base for easier installation and hook-up.

  • No additional surface treatments are required to prolong the life of the tower.
  • Tower has a nozzle spray header that can be pressurized. Excess flow does not “overflow”.
  • PVC fill is enclosed with minimal exposure to U.V rays and wind. This will help detour the growth of algae and reduce the usage of biocides. Elimination of wind exposure prevents the fill from being coated with sleet or freezing rain during off periods in winter

“Industrial” dictates ruggedness. The Berg Tower is extremely rugged and the weight alone (amount of material that is used to make the unit) is a logical clue to that. The additional material in the Berg Towers consists of the thickness of the fibreglass ¼”, stainless steel supports inside the shell, and the steel base the unit sits on. All this is the recipe for longevity.

The Berg Units will be around 7500 lbs (operating), 4000 lbs (shipping -- ships in 2 pieces).

Pump Tank Systems

  • Berg also provides accompanying pump tank systems for our fiberglass cooling towers to ensure that we provide you with best, optimal solutions for your facility.
  • Berg offers complete flexibility in pump/tank assembly designs to customize both dimensions and capacity for any industrial application. Reservoirs are available in mild and stainless steel, mounted on a heavy structural steel base, and have steel banding for additional structural support for the reservoir.
  • Pumps can be single-end mounted or dual-end mounted. Single pumps to multiple pumps complete with pipe headers are available. For large pump/tank assemblies, the pump assembly can be designed to be separate from the reservoir for installation and shipping constraints.
